Andrew Demko worked on the problem, and with Lynn Thompson’s input, a satisfactory solution was discovered. The result is what we offer here, the Oyabun! It incorporates a reinforced blade point, a high satin polish, expert heat treatment (Rc57 and sub-zero quenched), and the kind of stunningly sharp edge Cold Steel’s reputation was founded upon.
